An update on the New Year’s resolutions I didn’t even realize I made:Backtrack to the beginning of December.  NY resolution talk started on tumblr.  I thought for about five seconds, realized I wanted to start making my bed every morning, decided it was stupid to wait until the first of the year, started the next day.  Haven’t missed a morning since.  Now backtrack to New Year’s eve/day.  Everyone was posting all these awesome year in review posts with fancy graphs of all the miles they ran.  I had no idea how many I ran.  I wanted to know.  So I decided to start actually tracking my miles on Daily Mile.  It’s already paying off because I know I ran 122 miles in January which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Finally, backtrack to my first day back at work after taking a few vacation days, friends visiting, a surprise trip to Kentucky, and Race Epic.  I was a little frazzled (okay, more frazzled than usual) so I decided to sit at my kitchen (run gear storage) table and eat breakfast.  And you know what, it was nice, so I decided to do it every day.  And I have.In conclusion (and my usual poetic fashion): you wanna change shit, change it, don’t wait for a new year or month or day.
